The construction process can often seem daunting however, with the support of the team at ABL Group, we do our best to ensure that you do not need to worry about any of the potential concerns that may arise throughout the building process.
We efficiently guide you through the stages of construction and customise your experience according to your preferences and expectations.
With ABL Group’s experienced managerial, in-office and onsite teams we are able to collectively ensure that the construction process is transparent and efficiently managed in all areas.

Consultation & Tendering
Prior to any build, a meeting and assessment of current preliminary or approved plans will allow our team to determine how we can best meet your goals and prepare a quote for you. This consultation and tendering process will allow us to analyse any inclusions and discuss exclusions with you prior to the development of a final contract.
Planning
Once the contract has been signed and the relevant deposits have been finalised, ABL Group immediately take charge and begin engaging Building and Subdivision Surveyors (if required), in addition to demolition companies and the relevant utility companies to manage a multitude of other applications.
Preparation
Once we have acquired the Building Permit and demolition works (if applicable) have been finalised, it is now time to conclude any applications with the relevant authorities prior to any physical construction.
Base
The base stage is the first step toward finalising the physical structure of the project. It is an important stage that dictates the success of following stages.
Frame
The frame stage is the next step required where the structure of the property is formally commenced and begins to take shape

Lock-Up
This stage focuses on the successful finalisation of any exterior aspects of the physical structure. By the completion of this stage, all brickwork, windows and doors should be finalised (even if the latter two are temporary) and installed as per the Domestic Building Contracts Act (Section 40). The lock-up stage is a significant milestone in construction as it signifies a valuable point before all internal structures and services are finalised.
Fixing
The fixing stage incorporates the completion of all services located inside a property. Such services may include the completion of internal cladding, carpentry work such as architraves, skirting, internal room doors, shelving, cabinets and cupboards, in addition to the installation of appliances, bathroom and laundry fixtures.

Defects
Prior to any handover, ABL Group conducts several defects reports to ensure that there are no outstanding requirements required onsite. The defects stage also offers the owner an opportunity to address any concerns prior to handover and view the property prior to completion.
Completion
Once a property has acquired its Occupancy Permit and no outstanding defects are requested by the owner, ABL Group formally hands the project over to the owner.
